Swallowing

Do you have difficulty chewing or swallowing?  Have you lost weight but you don't know why?

Difficulty with swallowing is often called dysphagia.  Dysphagia can occur in both children and adults.  Symptoms of dysphagia include coughing right after eating, wet or gurgly voice during or after eating, extra time and effort required to eat, liquid or food leaking from the mouth, recurring pneumonia and weight loss or inability to properly gain weight.
